I.

De performer volgt een bewegingspatroon in de ruimte. De toeschouwer kijkt buiten door de ramen naar binnen. Bij elk raam hangt een speaker waaruit het geluid van de handeling binnen hoorbaar is. Het bewegingspatroon herhaalt zich. Bij elke nieuwe inzet laat de performer een handeling of beweging weg, maar blijft het geluid van de handeling buiten hoorbaar. Uiteindelijk staat de performer stil en blijft het spoor van haar handelingen hoorbaar.

Duur: 60 minuten

The performer is making a series of actions inside the space. The spectator is standing outside and is watching her actions through the window. Each window has a separate speaker producing the sound of the actions inside. With every new start the performer skips an action while the sound of that action remains. Consequently the performer stands still while the sound of her previous actions remain audible.

II.

Een intieme ontmoeting tussen één toeschouwer en de performer. De handelingen die zij uitvoeren worden gedicteerd door een memorecorder op de tafel. “Persoon B staat in de deuropening”, “persoon A zit aan tafel met het hoofd in de handen”

An intimate encounter between one spectator and the performer. Their actions are being dictated by a memo recorder on the table. “Person B stands in the doorway”. “Person A sits at the table with both hands covering the face”.

III.

De performer ligt op een stapel dekens en zegt teksten die zij hoort via een onzichtbaar oordopje. De teksten zijn antwoorden van verschillende mensen uit Burgh Haemstede, op de vraag een plek te omschrijven waar ze zich geborgen voelen.

The performer is lying on a pile of blankets. She is reciting texts which she is hearing through an invisible headphone. The texts contain interviews with different people living in Burgh Haemstede. They all answered the question: ‘Describe the place where you feel most secure’.
